🏕️ THE CABIN
The cabin boasts 3 bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed, sitting area, private full bathroom, and their own balcony. It's the perfect space for a family or group of friends to relax in comfort and style. The bedrooms are designed with relaxation in mind, so you can be sure to get a good night's sleep. The cabin is situated in a peaceful setting surrounded by trees, offering a sense of privacy and tranquility. You'll be able to take in the views of Shell Mountain from our game-room, which also features large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

Speaking of the game room, it's the perfect place to kick back and relax with friends and family. Challenge each other to a game of pool or foosball, or just sit back and relax. There's also a dedicated theater room with a large smart TV, making it the ideal spot for movie nights or just cozying up for some streaming. Outside, you'll find plenty of space to enjoy the natural surroundings. The large yard is perfect for a game of catch or a picnic, and each bedroom has its own private balcony for you to enjoy the outdoors anytime. The back deck has very comfortable furniture and a large 6-7 person hot tub to soak and relax in. Enjoy late-night fires and storytelling around the outdoor firepit! And, feel free to have a cookout on the BBQ grill! Don't forget to take a walk across the street and introduce yourself to Harold -- the donkey next door! He loves treats!

Finally, although you get the benefit of no traffic and being more secluded, away from it all, you will not have to navigate steep challenging roads to access our home. Our cabin is just off a main public paved road, yet is only about 12 miles to Sevierville, 13 miles to Pigeon Forge, and 17 miles to Gatlinburg.

Includes pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, etc. There is a dining table located right off the kitchen with seating for eight, as well as kitchen island seating for 4. Or take your picnic outside and enjoy the back patio seating and the fresh mountain air!

Plenty of parking for 3 cars. Small-midsize RV or trailer could also be accommodated. There are no steep mountain roads to get to the cabin.
The driveway is flat and paved.

"This place was gorgeous and so spacious. It’s more spacious than the pictures make it look. The drive there was peaceful, it was secluded which is what I look for. Everything was clean and neatly arranged. There was plenty of cooking supplies for us and plenty of storage space. We loved the game room and theater room, they made the cabin so much more fun. The fireplace in the living room was such a great touch of comfort and warmth. We loved the smart TVs, we were able to watch anything we wanted with the provided streaming services. Overall, we had a great trip here and enjoyed it so much that we would book it again. Only a 30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and about an hour to Gatlinburg which is not a horrible drive nor a difficult drive. We loved it! 10/10, we would recommend!

"We had such a great time! Perfect accommodations for three couples and so peaceful and secluded. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and having campfires and enjoyed dinner together each night. And so much to do in the surrounding area. We had so much fun hiking and biking.

"We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb with a group of 7 teenagers for a cabin trip. The house was immaculate and perfect for our family getaway. It was both clean and incredibly family-friendly, offering a range of activities to keep everyone entertained. The cabin had everything we needed to play games, make s’mores, and enjoy outdoor games. The jacuzzi was a fantastic spot for relaxation after a day full of fun. The nearby town, just 20 minutes away, provided great activities, dining and shopping options, adding a nice touch to our trip. Our host was attentive and ensured we had a memorable experience. Highly recommended for a group or family retreat!

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed having such a peaceful and private property to get away to. The hosts are so friendly and quick to respond to any issues we had! As an added bonus, Harold the donkey and Reggie the goat were so cute and friendly. My only cautions would be for anyone with mobility issues may have trouble getting to the bedrooms as they're all upstairs. There's a fully stocked game room and a hot tub to enjoy!

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was as described, very clean, and had an extremely well stocked kitchen. It was a short distance to grocery stores and attractions but I suggest grocery shopping on the way in. The cabin was a bit less secluded than I hoped as it’s in a small but very active residential community but it was good space and my family was very comfortable during our stay.

"We absolutely loved our stay at Harold’s Hideaway. This cabin is beautiful and spacious. We loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town, but still close enough to all of the activities that we wanted to do. This house sits on a fairly large lot. You have neighbors but the houses aren’t right on top of you like a lot of the other rental cabins, which we loved. The kitchen was well stocked. The living room furniture was comfortable. We found the beds to be comfortable as well. The mattresses are medium to firm which was good for my husband’s bad back. This is by far the best Air B&B we’ve ever booked. We didn’t have any issues with the internet. Cell phone service is spotty, but that’s to be expected in the mountains. If we make it back to Tennessee, we will book this cabin again. The management team are wonderful hosts. They took great care of us and were quick to respond to anything we needed. I highly recommend booking one of their cabins.

"Our family enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is located in a rural neighborhood (it’s the only rental property in the neighborhood). We were able to take our daily walks on relatively flat roads. The drive to Sevierville takes about 25 minutes. The hosts were very responsive.

"Beautiful and peaceful home. Loved the back yard, we sat around the fire pit. I also Loved that each couple had their own full bathroom, and balcony. Only downfall is that the house is not really close to town however you really don't have to leave there, just bring your groceries with you. Plenty to entertain you there.....thanks

"Absolutely a beautiful cabin and spotlessly clean. It is very remote but not too far from Gatlinburg. The cabin has all you need for your basic (and complicated) cooking needs ;). The outdoors are beautiful, the firepit outside with the BBQ was so cozy and cute. They do have a hot tub, but I did not try it since the temperature was in the 30s. The cabin fits 10-12 people comfortably. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and the movie theater. There are no rooms on the first floor (entrance) like in other cabins, so if you have people with mobility issues, take this into account. The hosts were amazing and responsive all the time. I would recommend this cabin 100%

"Great stay in a great cabin! Well maintained, open concept with a beautiful kitchen and backyard. Loved the firepit and all of the bedrooms were very nice. The game room was a huge plus. Our entire experience was great! It's about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg so heads up on that but if you are looking for a relaxing, nice stay... this spot is perfect. Loved having the animals down the road too! Great host.

"Harold's Hideaway was perfect! Just as described in the listing. The cabin had everything our family needed during our stay- fully stocked kitchen for nights we wanted to eat in. Comfortable beds & furnishings and everything was so clean! The home was a short 20 minutes to area attractions- the guide the provided gave lots of good suggestions on things to do & places to eat and shop! "This place was absolutely beautiful. Nothing was short of what was described. My children were impressed and felt at home. There were so many extras to the kitchen than I have seen in other rentals. The late night soaks and smores by the fire made us want to stay longer. The movie room and game areas were everything. I would recommend their place looking for a great stay with QUALITY as a priority. Their communication was constant in responding to questions, request, and just to check up on us and our needs. Definitely would like to visit again.❤️

"This was our first family cabin rental and we could not have picked a better place. The house is more beautiful than the pictures. It was clean and ready for us to enjoy it. The house came prepared with all the things you can needs from appliances to linens to a hot tub and perfect sized back yard. The fire pit is a bonus where we all got to enjoy some smores. The owners were so responsive to questions whether it was about a local grocery store or anything related to my reservation. They even checked in later on the day to make sure we had what we needed to ensure our stay would be up to par. The house is in a wonderful location, secluded for privacy but close enough to all local touristic attractions to have plenty of fun. I HIGHLY and I mean HIGHLY recommend you stay here. We had a wonderful time and would undoubtedly return. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

"This was the perfect cabin rental for our family vacation. Everything was clean and the cabin was very welcoming! "Stayed here for a Bachelorette party with a total of 8 people. The kitchen was super well stocked with everything. The hot tub was easy to use and very clean. The firepit was well set up. "Harold's Hideaway was absolutely stunning! My husband and I came to TN for a babymoon and wanted a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views together and this cabin was exactly that! "This place was absolutely amazing. We went to celebrate my sister’s 21st birthday and they even gave her a birthday surprise which we really appreciated. We definitely would love to come back again. I loved that it was exactly like the picture and allowed us all to sleep comfortably. Definitely a great place to stay!!!

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The amenities provided were great, and the cozy atmosphere of the property made our stay truly memorable. I can't recommend this Airbnb enough, and I'll definitely be coming back for another stay in the future!

"The Compass team are wonderful hosts! They’re very proactive with communication. We really had a great family vacation and couldn’t have been more satisfied with our experience. We will definitely look to book one of their locations when we return to Tennessee.

"The location was great. Just a short drive to Pigeon Gorge and Gatlinburg. The house was immaculate and smelled brand new when we walked in. Loved having a master bed with private bathroom in each bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.

"This place was amazing for our girls trip! Great place to stay with a large group, we enjoyed the bonfire pit and the movie room. Everyone had a great place to sleep and the place was extremely clean, tidy and spacious. We enjoyed the kitchen and the hot tub as well.

"Our long weekend at Harold's Hideaway was PERFECT! The home was exactly as described in the listing/pictures. The hosts reached out to me as soon as I booked, and then again closer to our arrival date, to welcome us and to check if we had any questions. They were very quick to respond to any questions that I had. The home was super clean, very nicely decorated, and had everything that you would need and MORE! The pictures of the home led me to look into this listing, but there were details that made it the perfect place for our trip...parking was on a flat surface, which made it stress-free. We parked two cars and a large truck with ease. We had previously stayed in a home that had a very steep driveway, which I wanted to avoid this trip. We did not have to drive up steep, curved roads to get to the home...definitely a plus for me. Having three bedrooms, all with king-sized beds/private baths, made it comfortable for everyone. And the deciding factor...Harold! We WILL be back! 😊

"This cabin is so incredible! The kids loved walking down the street and meeting the donkey that the cabin is named after, Harold. He was so cute! We enjoyed our evenings in the backyard at the firepit and in the hot tub! This was a great family vacation.

"The pictures did not do this Cabin justice! This was a beautiful location! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous! The space fit me and my family very comfortably and everything that we could have needed for the weekend was there minus the food( which there were seasonings for). I don’t have anything bad to say about the hosts or this location because everything was perfect for our first family vacation and we hope we will be able to book again next year! Thank you for a wonderful memory to add to our collection!

"The Compass team is the perfect example of a super-host. They welcomed us via text upon arrival. They left an open line of communication and responded immediately. The home inside and out is beautiful. Even the neighbors are sweet! Harold and Reggie (the donkey and goat down the street) greeted us every morning and we loved feeling them carrots. The home was so well kept, cozy, and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The kids were never board, they spent every minute on the top floor playing foosball. The community is quiet and you’re able to enjoy nature and the cool mountain air. Thank you Compass! We’re already looking at your other properties to see which one we want to stay at next!

"Everything about Harold's Hideaway was absolutely fantastic! Beautifully decorated, clean, plenty of room, private backyard with a fire pit and twinkly lights, and so many fun things to do without even leaving the property. We stayed in most evenings, taking advantage of the theater room, pool table, and games. And how many other places have a donkey you can pat on the head and give a carrot to? We all got a kick out of meeting Harold the donkey and his goat sidekick down the road. It truly was the most perfect place to enjoy hanging out with family and friends! We were thrilled with our stay and the hosts were the best--so nice and welcoming to our group. We can't wait to go back!

"Compass have been the best host I have encountered. They text me personally to make sure that we have safe travels to and from their place. The place was outstanding and had everything they said it would. Kitchen was well stock wit anything you might need to use to cook with. It was raining but we had a blast just inside the house wit the pool table and games.

"Man! This was one of the best Airbnb stays we have ever had. Not only was this listing exactly what it said, it went above and beyond expectation! Compass provided so many great amenities, the kitchen was fully stock with all the items one needs to cook (something we love doing on our trips), everything was so clean and organized as well. Having the hot tub was amazing and visiting the donkey at the end of the road was so sweet, we visited every morning. I wish I could give the listing 10 stars! It’s truly what it deserves and Compass deserves the same. Can’t wait to stay again!
