You're also a short trip from incredible attractions and entertainment in the area including Dollywood. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Zoo Knoxville, Neyland Stadium, The University of Tennessee, downtown Knoxville, and more! The cottage also includes games, multiple Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, a fireplace, an indoor jacuzzi tub, and a large deck with outdoor seating overlooking the river.

🏕️ THE COTTAGE:
Riverside Retreat has an ideal layout and is a great setup for vacationers of all types! The living room has comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and large windows that showcase the outdoor space. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and has a large table that seats four. The cottage has two bedrooms -- along with additional bunks -- that include comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Each master bedroom has a Queen-sized bed. The master bedroom has a connected full bathroom and also a relaxing jacuzzi tub, and a huge closet space!

Outside, you'll love spending time on the deck enjoying the fresh air. There is plenty of seating to relax in the morning with a cup of coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine. A BBQ grill is also available to take advantage of a cookout while taking in the beautiful views!

🛌 SLEEPING:
* Bedroom #1: Spacious bedroom with Queen-sized bed, dresser, and Smart TV. This bedroom includes an attached bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.
* Bedroom #2: Spacious bedroom with Queen-sized bed, dresser, and Smart TV.
* Additional Sleeping: Bunk beds are located in the hallway nook, conveniently just outside the master bedroom.

🍽️ EATING:
Fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and a full suite of appliances perfect for making any type of meals throughout your stay! The cabin includes pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, etc. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and has a table that seats four.

Free parking for up to 3 cars. Small RV could also be accommodated.
The driveway is flat.

* There is a strict no-smoking policy.

* The fireplace is unavailable April 1st - October 1st (Standard for rentals in the area)

"We have family in Rutledge and how extremely lucky to find this gem and get to be so close to them in the beautiful countryside! This place is spectacular and was the perfect size for our little group! It was so clean (especially after our not so clean hotel in Gaitlinburg - this was the exact opposite and a relief), so spacious, it had everything we needed and more. And Compass was super communicative the whole time. We were sad to leave but will definitely stay again and plan our next trip around when it’s available!!!

"The house was beautiful! We didn’t spend much time at the house, as we were here for family, but my hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back porch, drinking our coffee in the mornings and enjoying the wildlife that wander in the huge back yard! Jen was very communicative, making sure we were OK if we needed anything and checking in on us the day of arrival and the day we left. Would definitely come back here again!

"What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. We were so happy to find this stay, and we enjoyed every minute there. I personally loved all the furnishings and the layout was very unique. Our niece and nephew enjoyed the games and the foosball table was a big hit. I could have sat on the back porch all day watching the birds and wildlife. I enjoyed listening to the river sounds. Thank you for such a nice getaway location.

"This home is beautiful and sits on a beautiful property. Everything that we needed was provided. The security system made me feel safe. There was plenty of space for 2 adults and our 3 kids, inside and outside. The walk down to the river is steep in spots, but was very doable for us. The river was clear and the kids loved playing in it. The water level is very low early in the day, but we noticed the levels went up late afternoon. The higher water levels make for easier fishing! Hope to go back and enjoy the scenic porch views.

"This is an AMAZING home and location. One of the most picture views from within the mountains I’ve ever experienced. Walking in the door felt like being at home! Complete with board games and puzzles, and everything needed for the comforts of my family during this trip. With four bedrooms, there was more than ample room for everyone - the bunkbed in one of the upstairs rooms was an added bonus, although not needed. If you’re looking for a cabin retreat, I’d highly recommend this hosts location. Note: be sure you have four wheel or all-wheel-drive.😆

"Beautiful home & truly a super host!! Accommodations with as described & easy to use. Felt safe with security system too. We even cancelled a day of planned events just to relax more at the house. Pack your water shoes to go exploring in the river! Then enjoy the peacefulness on the porch in the evening. Compass was always quick to respond & answer questions, friendly, professional, & accommodating. I have already looked into their other properties for next vacation. Enjoy Riverside Retreat y’all!

"This home was just like the pictures, but better in person. Property was beautiful. It is definitely a good 20 minutes to restaurants/stores, so if you don't mind that, we highly recommend! Lots of farmland, cows, goats, etc, to look at along the way:)

"The house and view from the deck were beautiful! The location is peaceful and quiet. Not as close to river as it looks in the photos and you have a very small view of river in the spring/summer due to leaves and trees hiding the view. We were hoping to be able to fish while we were there but the closest part of the river was stagnant and the only way to get to flowing water was walking through a marshy "island." Overall though, our stay was great!

"Stayed here for a week with my husband, chicly have been happier with the home! It is a beautiful property, I could have sat on the porch all day! We saw lots of deer cross in the yard and the breeze was just so peaceful. Home was also very clean and lots of space! Highly recommend!

"It was definitely worth what we paid. Great location. All the boys fished down the river. Super fun. Had good WiFi and smart TV’s. All the controls worked. Really comfortable furniture. The beds were super comfortable. Good appliances in the kitchen. Feels like a safe place. And Very clean!

"Coffee on the porch in the morning to gaze at the gorgeous view was my favorite thing to do this vacation. How peaceful. I never wanted to leave! The home is very beautiful…spacious and comfortable.
